Michael Hoefflin Foundation Pediatric Cancer Challenge Walk

The Michael Hoefflin Foundation Pediatric Cancer Challenge Walk, held March 19 at College of the Canyons, was a fund-raising walk-a-thon and a first-time event for the foundation. The Michael Hoefflin Foundation supports families of children affected by the disease as well as research into treatments and the search for a cure for pediatric cancers.

Event organizer and Hoefflin board member Michael Oneschuck congratulates the child who designed the event T-shirt, who won a $100 gift-card to Toys-R-Us. Walkers wore white T-shirts, the light blue shirts were worn by children who are or were undergoing treatment.
