Police Arrest Suspect In Val Verde After Lengthy Ordeal

Around 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department special weapons team responded to the 29000 block of Huntstock Avenue in Val Verde regarding a suspect barricaded inside his house.
The suspect was wanted for assault with a deadly weapon for an incident that occurred in Val Verde Park in 2010.

According to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, officers on the scene deployed both gas and a K-9 unit.
