Three awards were presented during the ceremony. Oriana Garlick was named as Star Volunteer and Nicole Stinson was given the Above and Beyond Award. According to Chegwin, this year the YLC will be focusing on education, volunteerism, philanthropy, board leadership and developing leadership. “Santa Clarita has a huge population of young people, and we have to help develop them towards success in life.”
