Immigration Holds Requested For Two Kidnap Suspects In Newhall

khts_crimeFour men – two of them from out of the country, are behind bars for their part in an alleged kidnap/carjacking that took place in Newhall on Monday afternoon.

According to Lt. Mark Hershey, a 17-year old female said she gave two men a ride home, but enroute, they threatened her with a gun, forcing her to drive them elsewhere.

After she dropped the men off, she reported the incident to the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff’s station, prompting deputies to respond to a location on Ficus Street in Newhall, where they arrested the four men.
