Ramona Days Coming To Rancho Camulos Saturday
Watch history come to life with performances by more than 20 actors and dancers at the third annual “Ramona Days” celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 6 at Rancho Camulos Museum in Piru.
All things “Ramona” will be celebrated to honor Helen Hunt Jackson’s 1884 classic California novel by the same name, which is set at the historic Ventura County ranch.
“Ramona Days” at Rancho Camulos features a variety of family entertainment, including vignettes from the world-famous “Ramona” Pageant performed at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and screening of the 1910 D.W. Griffith movie “Ramona” starring Mary Pickford and filmed on location at Camulos.

Other items of interest are unique memorabilia and historic displays as well as presentations by Ramona experts:

Tours of the Rancho Camulos museum and gardens will be conducted by docents and guests may also enjoy free children’s activities, food, music and arts and crafts demonstrations and sales.
Tickets are $5 in advance and $8 at the gate for adults. Children age 12 and younger are free. Advance ticket sales are available at the Rancho Camulos gift shop, at the Camulos fruit stand, by e-mail, telephone, and mail.
