Details Emerging As To Castaic Murder Victim's Identity
Homicide detectives still don’t know the identity of the woman found October 11 by firefighters cleaning up a brush fire on Templin Highway above Castaic, but there are some clues that they’d like to share with the public in the hopes of finding out who she was.
“The coroner determined her age to be around 35 or a little older,” said Detective Frank Salerno. Her two front teeth were capped or false, she was about five feet, five inches in height and had short braids.

Initially, the only determination was that she was a black woman. Links to our earlier stories are available here and here. Salerno is in the midst of combing through nearly a hundred missing persons files to try and identify the victim.
