Dr. Trisha Eugenio, Janice Murray, & Dr. Phillip Beron

During the week of September 13, 2010, at the KHTS Community Resource Station, we featured  Providence Holy Cross to the KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight.

The KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight, hosted by Janice Murray , airs Mondays at 10AM on AM-1220 KHTS and is sponsored by Castaic Lake Water Agency.

Dr.Phillip Beron and Tricia Eugenio talked about Oncology services available at Providence Holy Cross Cancer Center – located in Santa Clarita. Image Guided Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy and other breakthrough technologies allow Providence to offer cancer survival rates among the best in the nation.

The Providence Holy Cross Santa Clarita Valley Health Center gives valley residents greater access to the excellent Providence Holy Cross physicians and high quality medical care through our Cancer Center, providing the next generation of radiation therapy and chemotherapy treatments; their state-of-art Providence Holy Cross Imaging Center, offering the latest advancements in medical imaging, including advanced MRI, multi-slice CT and the Santa Clarita Valley's first combined PET/CT; the Santa Clarita Surgery Center, featuring shorter, less complicated outpatient surgeries, Southern California's finest surgeons, and a comfortable and welcoming environment; and our Providence Laboratory Services, presenting a comprehensive laboratory draw station.

The Santa Clarita Valley community has received quality health care from Providence Holy Cross longer than any other hospital serving the region. Providence Holy Cross became the first medical center to serve the Santa Clarita Valley community when Holy Cross opened 46 years ago in 1961 and they are committed to providing the community with its present and future health care needs as well.

Currently, 16 percent of Providence Holy Cross’ inpatients are of the Santa Clarita Valley. In the near future, it is projected that 1 out of every 5 Providence Holy Cross patients will be Santa Clarita residents.

The Providence Holy Cross Health Center in Valencia offers quality services and care right here in the Santa Clarita Valley.

KHTS would like to thank Dr. Phillip Beron & Dr. Trisha Eugenio for spending time with us.
