On March 8, 2007, the Domestic Violence Center of the Santa Clarita Valley
was featured on the KHTS Non-Profit Spotlight, which is hosted by Janice Murray and sponsored by Valencia Acura .
The mission of the Domestic Violence Center is to promote and preserve non-violent, non-abusive family systems. Services offered by the center include 24-hour crisis counseling, intervention services, emergency transportation as well as court and social advocacy services and a number of other services for those in crisis - including a court approved batterers intervention program.
