Brush Fire Burned Seven Acres Near Escondido Canyon
UPDATED 4:30 p.m. Friday
The fire has been contained and firefighters are doing a mop up. Traffic will be restricted in the area while hot spots are doused.
A brush fire near Hubbard and Escondido Canyon Roads in Agua Dulce that broke out shortly before 3 p.m. has burned seven acres, threatening structures and causing the Los Angeles County Fire Department to issue a second alarm response.

According to Captain Steve Padilla, the fire is moving slowly, burning through sparse fuel. Structures protection crews from the earlier LaSalle incident (click here) have been moved to help out with the Escondido incident.
