Last Sip Of Summer Will Benefit Local Public Schools
The Santa Clarita Valley Education Foundation is presenting Last Sip of Summer, a wine tasting fundraiser benefiting local public schools through a program of the Santa Clarita Valley Education Foundation on August 1. Guests attending will enjoy wine tasting, raffles, auctions, games, snacks, and live entertainment from Jonathan LaFrance.
The Student Enrichment Awards For Teachers is the program of the foundation that The Last Sip of Summer will benefit. It is a program that allows teachers of local public schools the opportunity to request materials for projects and programs that they may not be able to afford due to insufficient funds or recent budget cuts.
These materials may include science equipment, art supplies, library books, items to publish a school newspaper, laptops, keyboards, and much more.
