Empowerment Luncheon Hosted By Betty Ferguson
The Betty Ferguson Foundation (BFF) has Sheri Varela of “Sheri Baby T-Shirts” as guest speaker for their monthly “Lunch & Learn” program on Tuesday, August 5, at noon. The “Lunch & Learn” program is presented by the BFF and the Women Entrepreneurs of SCV, an affiliated group of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs (WE).
Sheri Varela is the proud owner of her own company, called Sheri Baby.
She earns a living while having fun designing what she calls “self-esteem” or “remind-her” t-shirts with positive words and fun designs.
Shari says: “I felt it would be really cool if the t-shirts included words of encouragement. I figured we could all gain from uplifting words since we are constantly bombarded with negativity.”
BFF is a non-profit organization whose mission is to train, develop and empower women and youth to be a vital force in society. Their monthly “Lunch & Learn” is an opportunity for working ladies to meet and hear the successes of their fellow women.
To attend “Lunch & Learn,” RSVP by calling (661) 702-8712. The event costs $10.00 per attendee and includes a meal. BFF is located in the Valencia Industrial Center at 25510 W. Avenue Stanford, Suite # 104.
