Teen Room Dedicated In Redd's Memory
The Teen Room at the Newhall Community Center was named in honor of the late Parks Commissioner Ed Redd during a brief ceremony today
Redd died suddenly in March. He had served as a Parks, Recreation and Community Service Commissioner since August 2002. Redd was an instructor in the City’s Parent Education programs and worked tirelessly for the youth in the community and their parents.
Upon his passing in March, the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission voted unanimously to name the Teen Room in his honor.
