MOMS Raise Money For Domestic Violence Shelter

khts_inthecommunityMoms Offering Moms Support, also known as MOMS Club of Canyon Country South recently held a successful benefit for the SCV Domestic Violence Shelter.

At an event hosted by the Holiday Inn Express, more than 130 companies contributed items for a silent auction from airline tickets to teething ring jewelry. Numerous community members lent their support by attending the event or bidding by proxy.

The silent auction raised $4,783 for the SCV Domestic Violence Shelter.

Rebecca Kellogg, MOMS Canyon Country South club member said, “It feels great that our club is involved in supporting such a worthwhile organization. The DVC provides a vital service to our community, and is a cause that we as mothers feel strongly about.”

"We are grateful to all of our sponsors for helping us make this event a huge success," said MOMS Club chapter president Colleen O'Lear.
