Sanitation District Meeting Set For Wednesday

khts_citymatters_scvlogoThe Santa Clarita Valley Sanitation District public meeting formerly calendared for Thursday, May 27, 6:30, is being moved to Wednesday, June 2, 6:30 in the Santa Clarita City Council Chambers, 23920 Valencia Boulevard, Santa Clarita, so that Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, as a member of the Sanitation District Board, can attend.

Mayor Laurene Weste and Mayor Pro Tem Marsha McLean will attend and represent the City as members of the Sanitation District Board.

The public meeting regarding a proposed Sanitation District rate increase and the handling of chlorides in the Santa Clara River is being held at the request of Mayor Weste, so that residents of the Santa Clarita Valley can have an opportunity to participate in a local meeting on the subject.
