Report Cards Are In For Hart District Schools
These can be accessed at www.HartDistrict.org and clicking on the Community link at the top of the page. From there select Accountability Reports from the drop-down menu.
Site visitors can then select the school and the report they want to see, and choose from English or Spanish if a second language report is required.
The most current reports are for the 2008/09 school year, because test results are based on scores from the spring cycle of testing, which are not available until the following fall. School districts then have until February 1 to make their reports available.
Each school has a one-page Fact Sheet available, which includes the information most frequently requested by parents and the community.
The full-length SARCs run as long as 40-plus pages and have much more detailed information.
A Data Almanac offers information in tabular format on such items as student demographics, teacher qualifications, physical fitness and other topics not covered in the full Accountability Report Card.
Print copies of the Fact Sheet and full SARC are available upon request at individual school offices or through the Hart District office at (661) 259-0033 Ext. 227.
