Granola Bars, Children's Lamps Recalled
A popular store's granola bars and some decorative lights made by a California retailer are on today's recall list.
GRANOLA BARS
Trader Joe's is recalling their house brand Chocolate Chip Chewy Coated Granola Bars with use by dates and lot codes 16JUL10H2 and 17JUL10H1, as they may be contaminated with salmonella and cause a serious food-borne illness.
All product has been removed from sale and destroyed and there have been no reports of illness from product consumption.
The bars were made by Bloomfield Bakery, a subsidiary of Ralcorp Holdings, Inc. and packaged in 7.4 oz. boxes.
Trader Joe's is asking customers with the affected product to return it to their stores, full or empty, for a refund and/or disposal. For more information, go to the Trader Joe's website here.
LAMPS

Animated Marine and Safari Lamps made by Innovage LLC and sold in the United States and Canada between July 2009 and January 2010 are being voluntarily recalled due to a defect that can cause an electrical short, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers.
The model numbers involved are: 1627121, 1627124, and 1628626.
The affected units have batch numbers that begin with a 2. The batch number is an 11 digit number located on the bottom of the units and is also printed on the bottom of the box.
Please stop using the lamp immediately, and contact Innovage for instructions regarding return and a refund.
