Friends of the SCV Library Book Sale
Do you love to read?  Head to the Canyon Country Library this Saturday to get good deals on some great books at the Friends of the Library of Santa Clarita Valley January Book Sale.  The sale lasts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Stump the Politician
Tune in to KHTS AM-1220 or head to the KHTS Kiosk at the Valencia Town Center this Friday to hear children from Ms. Jones’ 5th grade class from Stevenson Ranch Elementary School as well as two classes from Sky Blue Mesa Elementary School try to stump State Senator George Runner.  Starting at 5 p.m. the kids will begin asking our Senator political questions to gain more insight into our state’s government system.

Twelfth Night
Laugh the night away as you watch KHTS Afternoon Host Jason Endicott perform in Twelfth Night at the Canyon Theatre Guild.  Don’t miss your last change to see this classic comedy. Closing night is Sunday, January 17.

Family Nature Walk

Take your family to the Placerita Canyon Nature Center this Saturday to enjoy the great outdoors.  Starting at 11 a.m., guests are invited to explore the canyon on the Family Nature Walk.  Then at 1 p.m., visitors can learn about the canyon’s native wildlife at the Animal Presentation.

Total Money School
Learn how to manage your money at Total Money School this Saturday and Sunday at the Yellow Victorian Building on the corner of Lyons and Walnut.  From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., instructor Arif Halaby from the KHTS Total Money School Hour will provide advice on how to save money, get out of debt, and save for retirement.
