Harmonic Bronze Handbell Ensemble Performs On Christmas Eve

Harmonic Bronze, the Acton-based handbell ensemble, has been chosen to participate in the 50th Annual Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration, airing December 24th on KCET.
Sponsored by the L.A. County Arts Commission, the group will be appearing with other top performers from throughout the L.A. area in this annual celebration of the arts and the holidays.
Harmonic Bronze is scheduled to perform during the 7 o'clock hour, but the time is subject to change. The complete Holiday Celebration runs from 3 p.m. through 9 p.m.

This year, there are four ways to enjoy the celebration. The show may be seen live at the Music Center, viewed on KCET-TV, streamed live via the web at KCET.org, and heard on KPFK at 90.7 FM. There will also opportunities to interact online, via Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, and YouTube.
Under the direction of Mr. Lawrence Rowland, the Handbell Ensemble is comprised of his current and former students.
For the Holiday Celebration at the Dorothy Chandler, the Advanced Group will be performing. They include:
Bree Aronin, Aubree Boswell, Loren Bowers, Alyssa Carlton, Kelsie Hitchler, Nick Loporchio, Laura Manning, Kayla Micale, Preston Ojena, Charlotte Pique, Amanda Smith, Jesse Smith, Kyle Smith, Sarah Stachnik, Samantha Rocha-Dyer, Jim Scarlatella, Troy Wollman, and Karisa Wymer, with guest Kristina McClendon returning from college to play, as well. For Kristina, this will mark the seventh time she has appeared on the program.
Harmonic Bronze also recently participated in the Master's College Bell-Fest in Santa Clarita. Both the Advanced and the Advanced Intermediate players appeared in that festival. Advanced Intermediate group members are:
Lilly Anderson, Taylor Beatty, Sara Bybee, Brianna Davidson, Haylee Horney, Lisa Kahn, Ian Kallos, Rachel Loporchio, Justin McClendon, Cody Miller, Caitlin Mulcahey, Joseph Rankin, Jessica Reed, and Sierra Turner.
December is a busy month for Harmonic Bronze. They will play at community events throughout the holiday season, including the Christmas Creche Festival in Lancaster, the Shepherd of the Hill's Christmas Tree Lighting in Agua Dulce, and various private venues.
