Road Closures And Delays Due To Marathon Sunday

The City of Santa Clarita is informing community members about road closures scheduled for Sunday, November 8 to accommodate the annual Santa Clarita Marathon.  Closures will be in place periodically throughout from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and detours will be provided for major closures.

 

McBean Parkway from Magic Mountain Parkway to Valencia Boulevard will be closed from 5:00 a.m. till 7:15 a.m.

Westbound Valencia Boulevard will be detoured via Citrus Avenue to Magic Mountain Parkway from 6:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.

Magic Mountain Parkway at Tourney Road will be closed from 7:00 - 7:45 a.m.

Commuters should expect delays in the Industrial Center on Avenue Scott, Avenue Stanford, Avenue Rockefeller, Anza Drive and Avenue Hopkins from 7:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.
