No. 23 The Master's College Men's Soccer Team Upsets No. 4 Azusa Pacific

news_sportsThe Master's College men's soccer team scored two first-half goals and beat Azusa Pacific, 3-1, in a match-up of top-25 teams on Wednesday. Jon Roberts and Joel Peluffo each scored in the first half for The Master's College, the 23rd ranked team in the NAIA.

Matt Cox added a goal in the second half for The Master's College in the win over fourth-ranked Azusa Pacific. The Master's College has won six straight games and is undefeated at 6-0 in Golden State Athletic Conference play.


Rain or shine, it looks like the Hart girls golf team is capable of breaking records and shooting under par. The Hart girls won the Foothill League golf match on Tuesday and came within a stroke of breaking their team record at Vista Valencia Golf Course.

Hart's Amanda Corr shot a 1-under par, 32, and her team shot 177 en route to a 27-stroke win over Saugus. Last year, Hart set the course record at Vista Valencia with a team score of 176.

In college volleyball, the College of the Canyons women's team swept Santa Monica College in three games. Jillian Anderson had 14 kills and 10 digs for COC.

The College of the Canyons women's soccer team played to a 3-3 draw against Santa Monica College. Emma Wright, Kylie Trammell and Erin Fyfe scored for COC.
