Armed Robbery Suspect Sought, Public's Help Requested
Detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station COBRA team are investigating an armed robbery which occurred at 8:20 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2009 at CVS Pharmacy located at 25880 McBean Parkway, Valencia.
The male suspect, pictured here, is being sought for questioning only in connection with the robbery. The suspect entered the CVS Pharmacy and stood in line with merchandise. When he reached the cashier, he lifted his shirt displaying a black handgun and demanded that the cashier put money in a bag.
The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of United States Currency and exited the location through the front main entrance. He fled in an unknown direction and may be driving a red or burgundy colored Ford F-150 truck. The suspect and the weapon are still outstanding and the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 18-20 years of age, 5'08" tall, 160 pounds with a shaved head. He was wearing a blue and white button up flannel shirt, blue jeans, white shoes, and sunglasses during the commission of the crime. It should be noted that the sunglasses were worn despite the fact it was dark outside.
