Bryan Herta Autosport Wins First Indy Lights Race
Bryan Herta Autosport won its first race in the Firestone Indy Lights series on Saturday at Chicagoland Speedway in Illinois.
Daniel Herrington, driving for the team owned by Valencia's Bryan Herta, led the last 25 laps of the race after passing Wade Cunningham on lap 42.
Herta's team is in its first year of operation and in its first year of competing in the Indy Lights series. The previous best finish for a Bryan Herta Autosport driver came last weekend at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, where Felipe Guimaraes was second.
It was Herrington's first Indy Lights series win.
