Juvenile Stabbed In Canyon Country Gang Incident

Two juveniles were arrested and jailed last night in a gang-related assault.
Sgt. Gary Parker reported that the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's station was called shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday by Fire Station 107 in Canyon Country regarding a stabbing victim.
The victim, a juvenile male, said that two men attacked him. Deputies were able to track down his assailants in the Tick Canyon area off Sierra Highway. According to Parker, a knife and a baseball bat were used by the suspects in the attack.
The two suspects were taken into custody and the victim was treated for his injuries. It was determined that the incident was gang-related.
