Vendors Sought For Annual Pow Wow

The Friends of William S. Hart Park and Museum and the County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation are presenting the 16th Annual American Indian Pow Wow and Native American Craft Fair on Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27.

This is a call for arts and crafts, food and beverage vendors, for performers and amusements, in the spirit of this Native American Festival. The space fees are vendor-friendly to encourage hand-made, home crafts and fine art sellers. All Drums and Dancers welcome.

This years event features Inter-tribal dancing, Birds of Prey Demonstrations, the "Children's Crafts Area with Chumash Songs and Stories" as told by Ted and Dennis Garcia, Native Food and Arts and Craft traders.

MC Mike Reifel is the host and Victor Chavez is the Arena Director.

The Pow Wow opens at 10:00 a.m. daily and entry is free to the public.

William S. Hart Regional Park and Museum is located at 24151 Newhall Avenue (former San Fernando Road) in Newhall.
