Art And History In The SCV

The Tesoro Adobe Historical Park is hosting an art show from August 14 to September 11.

The show is based on the theme "Art that Sizzles" and will feature an exhibit at a public reception on August 22, from 12-5 p.m.

Santa Clarita Artists' Association (SCAA) members will have an opportunity to showcase their interpretation of the theme.

Visitors can view artwork, enjoy potluck appetizers, tour the museum, which houses collectibles from the 1930's, and take in the beautiful scenery of cacti, succulents and desert flowers surrounding the Adobe.

"The SCAA is constantly trying to find new ways to expand and broaden the community's view of art in the Santa Clarita Valley. Changing exhibits are designed to do just that," said Laurie Morgan, President of the SCAA.
Tesoro Adobe Historical Park is located at 29350 Avenida Rancho Tesoro, Valencia, Ca.
