A New Twist To An Old Tale

JosephDreamcoatA limited engagement of this Broadway play will grace the Performing Arts Center.

The Santa Clarita Regional Theatre (SRCT) is bringing the Biblical saga of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" to the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons for a limited run this summer.

Audiences of all ages will enjoy the musical as it brings to life the story of Joseph, a boy blessed with the ability to interpret dreams, who shares the message, "Any Dream Will Do."

This popular and enduring musical, by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, combines a number of different musical styles, including country-western, calypso, pop and rock 'n' roll.

"Joseph" opens at the PAC on July 25 at 8:00 p.m., followed by performances at 2:00 on July 26, August 2, 9, 15 and 16.

There will be 8:00 p.m. performances on August 1, 8, 14, and 15.  Tickets range from $16 to $30 and are on sale now through the SCRT box office.

There are group discounts as well as discounts for juniors (under 18) and seniors (over 62).
