Tella the Star Fairy, by Hailey Follett

Good morning KHTS listeners. Hi my name is Hailey Follett and I am a 4th grader in Mrs. Tatlock's class at James Foster Elementary School in the Saugus School District.

I will be reviewing Stella the Star Fairy written by Daisy Meadows. It was written in 2005 and is 173 pages long. This book is about 2 girls named Rachel and Kirsty. Rachel and Kirsty are on Christmas Break at Kirsty's house in Wetherbury Village. The problem in the story is that the big Christmas tree lights and other Christmas lights in Wetherbury Village won't light up. So Stella the Star Fairy comes to Wetherbury Village at Kirsty's house because she needs Rachel and Kirsty's help to get the Christmas lights in the village on. So Stella, Kirsty, and Rachel set out to go looking for the magic glass ball, the magic candle, and the most important thing, the beautiful, magic star. Along their journey they found the last thing they needed in Goblin Village.

This book is one of the best books I've ever read and I say this because this book is like a mixture of a fantasy and a little bit of realism. I think this book is an example of an adventurous, funny, and fantasy story. I think many kids would like this book because it has a bunch of interesting things in it! When you start to read this book you'll be blown away!
