Shh! We're Writing the Constitution, by Luke Massie

Good Morning , KHTS  listeners. Hi my name is Luke Massie and I am a fourth grader in Ms. Brandt's class at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary School in the Sulphur Springs School district.

I'll be reviewing Shh! We're Writing the Constitution,  written by Jean Fritz, and illustrated by Tomie dePaola. It was written in 1987 and is 44 pages long. The book was about how George Washington held a meeting after the Revolutionary War with the Thirteen Colonies. The purpose of the meeting was to get everybody together. Through this meeting the constitution was written. I liked it because I like to learn about American History. I think young readers would enjoy that you get to learn about history.
