Betty Ferguson Foundation names 2009 Woman of Honor
The Betty Ferguson Foundation has selected College of the Canyons Chancellor Dr. Dianne Van Hook as their Woman of Honor for 2009.
“Dr. Van Hook’s leadership, vision, and commitment to providing educational opportunities to girls and young women of the Santa Clarita Valley is unparalleled,”
said Bruce Fortine, a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors and College of the Canyons Trustee.
The Woman of Honor dinner will be held at the Tournament Players’ Club (TPC) in Stevenson Ranch on Saturday, September 19. Local Journey tribute band Don’t Stop Believin’ will provide live music before and after the dinner, which will be catered by TPC.
