Caltrans declared a SigAlert on the southbound I-5 and closed one traffic lane between Calgrove and Lyons Avenue to clean up a diesel fuel spill for approximately three hours on Monday. Traffic was backed up in the Newhall Pass area as far back as McBean Parkway.
