Las Vegas Baseball Team Wins Two Games At COC
The Las Vegas Summer Baseball Club won both its games Saturday at College of the Canyons.
Tyler Wagner had three hits and scored two runs in an 8-0 win over the So Cal Dodgers scout team in the first game of the day. John Putsay drove in two runs in a 7-1 win over the So Cal Indians scout team in the nightcap.
Kennyn Walker, Kris Bryant, Kris Kaplan and R.J. Santigate each drove in two runs.
Sam Wolf pitched four shutout innings and won his first game of the summer.
The Las Vegas team had 13 hits and scored five runs in the sixth inning.
Las Vegas won its second game of the day, 7-1, against the So Cal Indians scout team.
Walker had three hits, scored two runs and drove in one for Las Vegas against the So Cal Indians.
Las Vegas starter Aaron Blair had three strikeouts in four innings and earned his first win of the summer.
Games continue today at College of the Canyons against the So Cal Indians and a scout team from Riverside.
