Eleven-year-old actress and singer Emma Howard, a Valencia resident who appeared and sang on the SCVTV’s “SCV Today” show on June 26, 2012, has been cast as Hortensia in the Broadway show “Matilda the Musical.”

The show will make its debut on March 4, 2013, before moving to the Shubert Theatre in New York City on April 11th.

Most recently, Emma had the title role of “Annie” in the production that ran at the Glendale Center Theatre.  She was also one of seven finalists out of more than 5,000 that auditioned for the recent Broadway revival of “Annie.”
