SCV Rotary International Gives To Local Charity

Dave Reeves of Reeves Automotive, a representative for the SCV Rotary International, recently gave back to Family Promise in support of its effort to help families who are struggling to get back on their feet.

“They do a lot in the Santa Clarita Valley to help homeless people, and it’s a great organization,” Reeves said. Reeves said the group will be giving to different groups throughout the year to try and help as many local residents in need as possible.

The endowment will be given out to local charities on a bimonthly basis, according to Reeves.

The money donated comes from the interest on the endowment that the group has, which is intended to help out the local community.

The SCV Rotary International is an open, community service-related organization that recently celebrated its 50th aniversary.

Information about Family Promise also may be found on the group’s website.
