Friends and family are looking for Sarah Alarid, who was reported missing Jan. 2, said family friend Brittney Mitre.

Alarid, 19, of Santa Clarita was last seen leaving a party on New Year’s Eve in her silver Ford Focus hatchback, license plate No. 4WXE737.

“If anybody has any information regarding this case, they can contact homicide detectives who handle all adult missing persons, regardless of the circumstances,” said Deputy Josh Dubin of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Her friends and family have been looking for her since the morning of Jan. 2, when her absence was first noticed, because she did not come home from a party.
