    Toyota To Issue Largest Recall Ever

    One of the world's largest carmakers will issue its largest recall of vehicles after a crash found floor mats could interfere with the accelerator pedals and cause a crash.

    Toyota officials will recall 3.8 million vehicles in the United States and advise owners of Toyota and Lexus vehicles to remove their driver's side floor mats and not replace them.

     

    Spinach Subject Of Recall Again

    khts_recallsIppolito International, LP of Salinas, California is voluntarily recalling 1,715 cartons of bunched spinach, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.

     

     

    Target House Brand Potato Salad Recalled

    Garden-Fresh Foods, Inc. is recalling 16-ounce containers of Archer Farms Potato Salad with an expiration date of 10/04/2009 because they may contain undeclared milk allergens. People who have allergies to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this undeclared product.

    The recalled 16-ounce Archer Farms Potato Salad were distributed nationwide at SuperTarget retail stores.

     

    Cereal Recalled From Walmart Stores

    A popular cereal distributed nationwide by Walmart stores has been recalled because it may contain undeclared almonds.

    Gilster-Mary Lee Corp, of Chester, IL is recalling a single lot of 21oz. Great Value Berry Crunch cereal. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds or tree nuts may run the risk of a serious allergic reaction if they consume these products.
