    early this morning and then attempted to cut another hole in the wall leading to the Cig Shop next door. The plan hit a quandary when they cut through a water pipe, sending an unrelenting stream of water into the building.

    Lane Closures for I-5 Carpool Lane Construction 10/6-10/7

    Caltrans will close the following lanes of the Golden State Freeway (I-5), as part of a $41.6-million project to construct High Occupancy Vehicle, (HOV), or carpool lanes, on northbound and southbound I-5 from State Route 118 to State Route 14:
    ·     6 p.m. to 11 a.m. – Up to three lanes of southbound I-5 from State Route 14 to Balboa Boulevard
