    Salute To Sondeim Cancelled

    Show will be re-scheduled.

    The Salute to Stephen Sondeim that was planned for Sunday, April 15th has been canceled due to a scheduling conflict.

    The Theatre Project SCV had planned to present a salute to Stephen Sondeim, whose legendary musical writings include classics A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, West Side Story, Sunday in the Park with George and more.


    NRC Looking For Members

    Newhall Redevelopment Committee has 8 openings.

    The City of Santa Clarita is encouraging interested people to apply for positions on the Newhall Redevelopment Committee. Eight positions are available.

    The Committee is made up of 13 members with an interest in redevelopment issues within the Newhall Project Area.  The Committee advises the Redevelopment Agency on redevelopment/ revitalization in the Newhall Project Area and assists with implementation of the Downtown Newhall Specific Plan.

    Dodgers Win 10-4

    The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a three-game sweep of the San Francisco Giants on Sunday afternoon with a 10-4 win.  The Dodgers will fly back to LA for their 2007 home opener against the Colorado Rockies, with the first pitch scheduled for 1:10pm on Monday afternoon.  You can hear all of the action LIVE on KHTS, beginning with the pre-game show at 12:30pm.

    Round Up Hazardous Waste

    Residents to Dispose of Household Hazardous Waste, Saturday, April 14, 2007.

    The City of Santa Clarita, in conjunction with Los Angeles County, will offer residents the opportunity to safely dispose of household hazardous waste and e-waste, free of charge, during a county-wide Hazardous Waste Roundup on Saturday, April 14, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 


    The free Roundup will be held at the College of the Canyons in the south parking lot, located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road.

    Easter Comes Alive At Vasquez

    2 services re-enact Christ’s journey.

    This Sunday, Christians celebrate Easter. Pastor Mike Sheridan of the Family Community Church spoke with KHTS regarding the very special Easter service that his church, along with three others, are putting on at Vasquez Rocks.


    A full theatrical presentation will follow the trial, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.   


    The event is done with authentic costumes, and is full of music and sound which adds to the drama.
