    New Piece Of Cross Valley Connector To Open

    Section will link the I-5, 126 to city.

    A new portion of the Cross Valley Connector is all set to open on April 23rd at 10:00am.


    The 1.6 mile piece will connect the I-5 and 126 to Copperhill and Rye Canyon Road.


    Kings Lose 3-2

    On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Kings lost to the Phoenix Coyotes 3-2.  Todd Kostopoulos and Michael Cammalleri scored the two LA goals, in a game that was the final KHTS Kings broadcast of the season.

    The Saugus Action Committee, in partnership with the City of Santa Clarita and local businesses, proudly presents the annual Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7, 2007. The Egg hunt will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.

    Participating parks include: Canyon Country Park, located at 17615 Soledad Canyon Road; Valencia Glen Park, located at 23750 Via Gavola; and Central Park, located at 27150 Bouquet Canyon Road.

    Symphony A Real Local Treasure

    First Theatrical Masterpiece Concert On Sunday.  


    In a season filled with firsts, the Santa Clarita Symphony invites the community to attend "An Evening at the Palace," its first theatrical Masterpiece Concert, starting 8 p.m., Saturday, April 7, at the College of the Canyons Performing Arts Center.


    The Symphony will transport you back in time to Prince Nikolaus Esterhazy's Summer palace in year 1772, as they re-create Joseph Haydn's dramatic "Farewell" Symphony, Number 45. 


    DUI Checkpoint Next Friday

    In a statement, Sheriff’s officials said that the location of the checkpoint will directly address concerns based on DUI activity in that area.
