    Caltrans will close the following lanes and ramps of the northbound and southbound Golden State Freeway (I-5) from Vista Del Lago (about two miles north of Castaic) to Frazier Park, as part of a one-year, 40-mile project to repair lanes on I-5 damaged from this year’s heavy rainstorms:

    The Los Angeles Kings beat the Anaheim Mighty Ducks 3-1.  Penalties against the Ducks may have kept them weak but only strengthened the Kings.  Winning tonight put the Kings standings to 6-3.  Almost leading their division the Kings are in excellent contention for the Stanley Cup.  Tune in to your Hometown Station AM 1220 KHTS for more exciting Los Angeles Kings hockey.

    The Los Angeles King lost a hard fought game tonight to the Calgary Flames 3-2.  With multiple power plays on either side, both teams had several chances to secure the lead but the Kings couldn’t put it away.  Tonight’s bitter loss will stay with the Kings as they play again Tuesday the 25th of October hoping to revert back to their winning streak by beating the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.  Tune in to your Hometown Station AM 1220 KHTS to cheer on your Los Angeles Kings.
