Caltrans will close the following lanes and ramps of the Golden State Freeway (I-5), as part of a $41.6-million project to construct High Occupancy Vehicle, (HOV), or carpool lanes, on northbound and southbound I-5 from State Route 118 to State Route 14:



OVERNIGHT FRIDAY, JANUARY 13 TO SATURDAY, JANUARY 14: 

6 p.m. to 11 a.m. – Up to two lanes of southbound I-5 from State Route 14 to State Route 210 

6 p.m. to 11:59 a.m. – The southbound I-5 off-ramp to Paxton Street 

Local Stevenson Ranch resident Ryan Baker was diagnosed with Leukemia at 5 years old.  After intense chemotherapy the leukemia was gone and Ryan had a new leash on life.  Ryan is now 12 years old and has had a relapse.  He is now going through intense chemotherapy and is in need of a bone marrow transplant.
