State Senate Roundup

Democratic incumbent Fran Pavley looked to be holding off Republican challenger Todd Zink in her bid for a return trip to Sacramento for the 27th State Senate District.

Pavley received 143,645 votes, while Zink received 130,303, with 99 percent of districts reporting.

In the 21st district, Republican Steve Knight captured 59 percent of the vote, or 104, 862 votes, over Democrat Star Moffatt, who garnered 72,925, with 89 percent of districts reporting.
