Sheriff’s Toy Drive Kick-off Hosted By Power Chevrolet

The holiday season is alive and well, and to celebrate this season of giving, Power Chevrolet, the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, KHTS and SCVTV kicked off their annual toy drive Wednesday.

Dozens of children came out to sing and help spread holiday cheer at the event, which was hosted by Power Chevrolet at the corner of Creekside Road and Valencia Boulevard.

If you’d like to take part in the toy drive and donate to help a family less fortunate during the holiday season, there are currently several locations where gifts are being accepted:

The Sheriff’s Station is asking for toys for children of all ages, newborns to teenagers. Deputy Regina Yost recommends clothes for infants, and gift cards as the best gift for teenagers. They will continue collecting toys until Dec. 20 at several collection sites around the Santa Clarita Valley. For a full list of locations, click here.

For 20 years, the station has been serving local families through their toy drive. This year, your donations will benefit families registered with the SCV Food Pantry and the Child and Family Center.

For more information about this event and to find out how you can help by hosting a collection box, contact Deputy Joe Trejo at 661-255-1121 ext. 5160 or click here.
