OLPH Breaks Ground On New Parking Lot

Part of a local parish’s effort to renovate its decades-old property passed a new milestone Monday, as the community celebrated the groundbreaking of its new lot.

The new parking lot at Our Lady of Perpetual Help will be four acres in size and hold more than 160 cars, according to Albert Giacomazzi, president of AMG & Associates, which is overseeing the construction project.

Much of the land for the lot is coming from houses across the street from the church, where the expansion will take place.

The company plans to have construction completed by March in time for Easter.
