Deputies Seek Help In Search For Suspect

SCV Sheriff’s Station deputies are seeking public assistance in finding the man suspected of assaulting an elderly man on a public city bus.

 

  Bernhardt Darko, a 28 year old male from Valencia, has been identified as the individual who assaulted an elderly victim.

 

On October 5th, 2012, at approximately 7:45pm, the suspect (Bernhardt Darko) assaulted another passenger on a Santa Clarita City bus while at the transit center in Valencia, according to the Sheriff’s Department statement. The victim who was in his late 60’s sustained multiple injuries to his head and face.

 

Bernhardt Darko is believed to frequent the areas of Newhall Ranch Road and McBean Parkway. It is unknown where Bernhardt Darko lives at this time.

 

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Bernhardt Darko is urged to contact the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at 661-255-1121.  Do not approach or attempt to apprehend.
