County Approves One Valley, One Vision

SCV News Staff

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved the One Valley One Vision general plan Tuesday, giving the final OK to the blueprint that will guide growth in the Santa Clarita Valley on both sides of the city-county border for the foreseeable future.

The Santa Clarita City Council approved the document in June 2011. City and county planners have been working on it for a decade.

It goes into effect Dec. 27.
