    Hart wide receiver Brian Felt has been named Lockheed Player of the Week after his incredible performance on Friday night.  Felt had seven receptions for 204 yards and four touchdowns in Hart’s 49-13 victory over Golden Valley.  Congratulations to Brian.  The Indians look for their first Foothill League Championship since 2003 on Friday night, when they take on Saugus at 7pm live on KHTS.  Saugus is looking for their first league title since 1981, when they played in the Golden League.

    Cougars Win 53-15

    The College of the Canyons Cougars continued their impressive play on Saturday night, by defeating the L.A. Harbor Seahawks 53-15. Keep it tuned to AM1220 KHTS, as we will have coverage of COC football as they move into the playoffs in the coming weeks.

    Kings Fall 3-1

    On Saturday evening, the Kings lost to the San Jose Sharks 3-1. You can hear the Kings’ next game, Saturday, November 10 at 7:00pm.  They will take on the Dallas Stars LIVE on KHTS.

    Saugus plays from behind, defeats Canyon

     

    On Friday night in a game heard live on KHTS, the Saugus Centurions came back, after trailing for three quarters, to beat the Canyon Cowboys 18-14.  In other local action, Hart defeated Golden Valley 49-13, while Valencia beat West Ranch 36-6.

    You can hear a re-broadcast of the Valencia – West Ranch game, Saturday morning beginning at 10:00am.

    The final week of the regular season comes next Friday night, when you can hear Hart and Saugus play for the Foothill league title, beginning at 7:00pm on AM1220 KHTS.

    Kings Win 5-2

    The LA Kings beat the San Jose Sharks 5-2 Friday night. On Saturday, November 10, you can hear the Kings take on the Dallas Stars at 7:00pm on KHTS.

    Exciting Santa Clarita football games come your way this weekend AM 1220 KHTS.  Tonight the Foothill League leading Saugus Centurions take on the defending State Champion Canyon Cowboys at 6:30pm live on KHTS.  The Centurions are looking for their first victory in the series since 2001.  The West Ranch Wildcats look for their first win in Foothill League action against the Valencia Vikings on Friday night.  The game will be aired on Saturday at 10am.  The Golden Valley Grizzlies will take on the Hart Indians as well.

    Dodgers Sign Torre

    Former Yankee manager to replace Little.

     

    The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed former Yankee skipper Joe Torre to a three-year contract. The deal is worth an estimated $14.5 million.  Torre is expected to bring former Yankee coaches Don Mattingly and Larry Bowa to Los Angeles as well.

    Girls Volleyball action wraps up in the Foothill League tonight.  Valencia has already clinched league, but don’t expect the Lady Vikings to back down as they travel to Hart to take on the Indians.  Canyon will look to secure a playoff birth versus Saugus, while Golden Valley and West Ranch look to produce a memorable match in their short histories.
