    Hart Boys Basketball Team Wins 13th Game In A Row

    The Hart boys basketball team recorded another blow-out win in the Holiday Classic tournament. Behind a 19-point game from Lewis Stallworth, the Indians beat Reseda, 92-70, on the second day of pool play.

    Stallworth made four 3-pointers and led four Indians in double figures. Hart made 13 3-pointers in the game.

    The Indians stayed undefeated and improved to 13-0. They play South Bakersfield in the third round of pool play tonight.

    South Bakersfield lost to Burbank, 50-45, in the second round of pool play. In other pool play games, Glendale beat Channel Islands, 68-51. Grant beat Heritage Christian, 96-66.

    Hart Boys Basketball Team Begins Holiday Classic By Blowing Out Burbank

    The Hart boys basketball team opened the Holiday Classic tournament with an 81-50 rout over Burbank in the first round of pool play.

    Lewis Stallworth led the Indians with 15 points. Four players from Hart scored in double figures. Myles Franklin had 13.

    The Indians led 37-32 at halftime and outscored Burbank, 25-8, in the third quarter to take a 22-point lead.

    Hart improved to 12-0 to start the season. The Indians play Reseda in the second round of pool play tonight.

    Hart Boys Basketball Team Kicks Off Holiday Classic Against Burbank

    The Hart Holiday Classic boys basketball tournament begins today with four games including the host Indians against Burbank.

    The tournament starts with Glendale vs. Heritage Christian at 3 this afternoon.

    Reseda plays South Bakersfield, one of the top teams from the CIF Central Section.

    Grant plays Channel Islands in the other first round game.

    West Ranch Boys Basketball Team Reaches Semifinals Of St. Hope Elite Classic In Sacramento

    The West Ranch boys basketball team is in the semifinals of the St. Hope Elite Classic tournament in Sacramento after a 78-66 win over Chico.

    Ako Kaluna recorded a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds. Kevin Harris led the Wildcats in scoring with 31 points.

    Hart Boys Basketball Team Needs OT Against Culver City To Stay Undefeated

    The Hart boys basketball team was pushed to the limits against Culver City, but won, 82-78 in overtime.

    The Indians won their 10th game in a row and remained undefeated to start the season.

    Lewis Stallworth led Hart in scoring with 17 points and Myles Franklin added 15 on a poor shooting night for both players. Stallworth was 6-for-16 from the field and Franklin made only 5 of 13 shots.

    Undefeated Hart Boys Basketball Team Faces Culver City

    The Hart boys basketball team will look to stay undefeated and improve to 10-0 against Culver City tonight.

    The Indians, ranked No. 5 in the CIF Southern Section Division 3AAA poll, are coming off a championship run in the La Canada Tournament.

    The Saugus boys basketball team is on the road and plays Oxnard tonight.

    The Santa Clarita Christian boys basketball team hosts Albert Einstein Academy in a game at The Master’s College.

    Saugus Girls Soccer Team Wins Buena Tournament

    The Saugus girls soccer team shut out Oaks Christian, 1-0, in the championship game of the Buena Tournament.

    Angie Weiner scored the lone goal of the game in the first half and goalkeeper Maddie Hebert held Oaks Christian scoreless.

    It was the second time in three years the Centurions won the Buena Tournament. They have reached the championship match in all three years, playing Oaks Christian each time.

    The Saugus girls tied Dos Pueblos, 1-1, and advanced on penalty kicks, 4-1, in the semifinals of the tournament. Weiner scored the only goal in regulation for Saugus in that game too.

    The Saugus girls soccer team is ranked No. 3 in the Southern Section Division 2 poll. The Centurions are 10-0 and have seven shutouts.

    Hart Boys Basketball Team Wins La Canada Tournament

    The Hart boys basketball team won the La Canada Tournament and improved to 9-0 to start the season.

    Hart beat St. Francis, 57-54, in the championship game. Myles Franklin scored 12 points against St. Francis and was selected as the tournament MVP.

    Lewis Stallworth led Hart with 16 points in the championship game and earned a spot on the all-tournament team. Andrew MacArthur was also selected to the all-tournament team.

    Canyon's Alia McCoy Scores 27 Points In Big Girls Basketball Win Over Highland

    Canyon’s Alia McCoy scored a season-high 27 points and her team squashed Highland, 78-43.

    Four Canyon players scored in double figures. Kali Vittallo scored 18, Jaya Schultz had 14 and Delaney McCann added 10. Canyon, which improved to 8-1, had a 40-point lead in the fourth quarter.

    Hart Boys Basketball Team Downs La Canada, Remains Undefeated

    The Hart boys basketball team won its second game in the La Canada Tournament, 68-53, over La Canada and remained undefeated to start the season.

    Myles Franklin scored 26 points to lead the Indians who improved to 7-0.

    Hart plays Arcadia next in the tournament.
