Freshwater Report:

1) Castaic Lake....Trout were planted here this past week; and the trout fishing has been good to fair. For largemouth bass, the fishing has been slow. Try the lower Lagoon for the bass. Slow fishing for all other species.

The latest freshwater reports are as follows:
1)  Castaic Lake....Fair to good trout fishing, thanks to a couple recent trout plants.  Try these areas for your best shot at catching some trout: Kong Island, Elizabeth Canyon, West Ramp or Main Ramp.  There's been only a few stripped and largemouth bass caught.
