California Highway Patrol officers are investigating a fatal crash that killed a 17-year-old female jogger on Golden Valley Road on Monday night, officials said. “A jogger heading westbound, near Golden Valley Road and Samantha Court, and she was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound in Golden Valley Road,” said Officer John Lutz of the California Highway Patrol. A boy was driving a 1989 Toyota Celica. The victim is reportedly a Saugus High student.
Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies responded Thursday to a report of a suspicious death in a warehouse bathroom at the Valencia Industrial Center around 11:25 a.m., officials said Thursday. A man was found with his throat slit inside the restroom of a business on the 24900 block of Avenue Kearny in Valencia, according to Sheriff’s Station officials. Deputies and Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives were on scene Thursday afternoon, in front of Platinum Pets and Exclusive Powder Coating, two businesses operating in the warehouse where the body was found.
