During routine patrol, a citizen flagged down SCV deputies where witnesses reported that a male suspect was brandishing a gun near the intersection of Jakes Way and Sandy Dr., according to Sgt. Price of the Santa Clarita Sheriff's Dept.
“We are blocking off the area and waiting for a helicopter to assist in following up on this disturbance,” said Sgt. Price.

Two separate collisions, one involving a motorcycle, at the 33000 Block of Bouquet Canyon Rd. in Saugus were reported Friday morning at approximately 11:14 A.M., according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.
